A t t o r n e y P r o f i l e s [Charles R. Ledbetter] [J. Michael Cogbill] [James A. Arnold, II] [Ronald D. Harrison] Rebecca D. Hattabaugh (Member) Ms. Hattabaugh was born in Booneville, Arkansas on September 13, 1972. Ms. Hattabaugh attended the University of Arkansas where she was a Fulbright Scholar, and she was accepted into the advanced placement program for law school. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arkansas in 1994 and her Juris Doctorate, with high honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1995, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Arkansas Law Review. Ms. Hattabaugh earned the highest score on the February 1996 Arkansas Bar Exam and has been practicing with this firm since her admission to the bar. During her tenure at this firm, Ms. Hattabaugh has been involved primarily in insurance defense, litigation, medical malpractice defense, employment law, workers’ compensation, nursing home defense, and appellate practice. As part of the Young Lawyers Section of the Arkansas Bar Association, she was a contributing editor to the Second Edition of the Consumer Law Handbook published by the Section in 2000. Ms. Hattabaugh is a 2002 graduate of the Leadership Fort Smith program, which emphasizes community involvement and leadership. Areas of Practice: Medical Malpractice, Employment Law, Insurance Defense, and Appellate Practice.
